I have been complaining the whole spring that the weather in Finland is awful & cold. No complaining anymore for it is 28 C! If I wanted I could of course complain that the blooming of tulips lasts only a short while and that plants are suffering of draught. But I choose not to - but enjoy!
This week I'll share with you green impressions. I like very much this Berberis thunbergii 'Aurea' with its lovely lime green foliage. The shrub gets a bit greener as the summer proceeds. It is in bud now, but the blooms are small and modest. The main thing is the color. The shrub was difficult to photograph for it grows in the middle of everything!

Without spring to summertime, it's the same as with us. All spring flowers are down so fast, but let's enjoy the warm sunshine! Pretty berberis (difficult to photograpf, when all is green) and my favorite photo is the last.
