Fun for the Day

A foreigner encounters in Finland very many Finnish problems. One of the foreigners who have had the guts to stay here is Joel Willans who has lived here over 15 years.  He is a Brit and the inventor of the phenomenon Very Finnish Problems. He looks at us introverted Finns lovingly and jokes a lot about the Finnish language and our climate with endless long winters. He is so fun and clever and can be followed both on Fabebook & Instagram. I searched for you some monster samples of our gorgeous language with its infinite combination words and snow views of winter. No snow yet, but it truly can bury almost anything.

Treasure or Junk?

I have a lot of old stuff as decorations in the garden inherited from my mother.

I thought i’ll present a few of them. First these two old wheels that change their
location from year to year. One summer they were flat on the ground.

Photos were taken in a May, Lilium martagons are sprouting.

Then I have this rusty  protective cover for AIV fodder bottle. The photos underneath 

were taken in an autumn and the sedums that grow on top have been removed.

 I have an old Singer as a planter hosting different plants every summer.
