The topic of Makrotex this week is MAY.

In the garden not much to photograph yet as the weather continues windy & very cool.

Scillas are starting though and the kitties go out every day for a while.

Silva loves it, but Selma is very reluctant. 

Hopefully she will like to go out too as the weather gets warmer.

It’s Scilla Time!

Quite a few wood pigeons visit my garden and they love to sit

high up in our maple tree. But they are so scared of me!

Scillas are blooming despite of the cool weather.

Friday Bliss #85 - Blue Spring

We have had some gorgeous sunny & warm days and plants are slowly starting

to grow. The scillas are at their best right now, but shall wither soon.

I have been out in the garden a lot. Garden work is tough as you know :))

I haven’t had the energy to visit your blogs, sorry for that.

Berberis thunbergii 'Atropurpurea, Aureum’ starting to sprout.

Omphalodes verna & Guardian Angel from 2016.

Something Green

Makrotex asks for something green. 

The first scillas  start to open in a sunny spot.

Frühlingsglück am Ostern

Eigentlich weiss ich nicht ob mein Titel korrekt geschrieben ist: an Ostern oder am Ostern...
Präpositionen sind so schwer auf deutsch. Besser auf englisch schreiben!

At the moment the garden and the nature look still very bare,
only Salix caprea is beautiful & filled with blooms!
I have one big Salix caprea in my garden and there are many in the neighbourhood.

In the garden Viola odoratus and scillas are starting to bloom...❤︎

I replanted & divided these violas last spring and am very happy

that they survived the heat and severe draught of last summer.

And I enjoy a lot the muscaris and tete a tete daffodils on the terrace!

Floral Bliss #69

Nothing yet to photograph in the garden, this spring is so late.

So I chose some impressions from April - early May 2016. I like these tiny blues: 

Scilla siberica, Viola odorata, Brunnera macrophylla, Vinca minor and Omphalodes verna
 - added of course with some yellow Primulas.

Vielä ei mitään kuvattavaa puutarhassa, niinpä valitsin kuvia huhti-toukokuulta 2016.
Etsin pieniä sinisiä joista pidän paljon:
idänsinililjat, kevätkaihonkukat, rotkolemmikit. pikkutalviot ja tuoksuorvokit ovat ihania
- lisättynä tietysti muutamalla keltaisella kevätesikolla.

The garden is slowly awakening.
The wheather continues extremely cold - this cold only twice in a hundred years.
