I live 20 km north of the center of Helsinki. I had a dentist appointment there and did some shopping. I went to see also the Marimekko Spring Collection. To give you a splash of color I post a couple of examples of perhaps the most famous Marimekko design - Unikko. If you google it, you'll find hundreds of examples. Unikko was designed by Maija Isola in 1964 and has returned to production.
Also I found a site where you can look Marimekko's different designs through the years. It is a web exhibition of Design Museum.
My Bloody Books!
I started a book blog called Kirja vieköön! It means literally Let the books take me along... But Google Translator insists that it is Book bloody well! Almost like My Bloody Books! Oh dear, what will the English speaking readers think of me!
Last weekend we got so heavy snow fall that it almost buried me in the snow. I made a post with photos called The End of the World.
The ATP Tournament is on its way. This week I watched The Dubai Open. The players earn a lot of money but at the cost of being on tour 8 months a year...
What else... I participated in the Makrotex Challenge with my Color Palettes...
