Friday Bliss #186 - Sweet Yellow Hyacinths

I’ll share this week beautiful yellow hyacinths and lilac feathers.

I like these complementary colours and my photos have a slight watercolour feeling.

I hope you like! I plant usually the bulbs later in the garden, but propably our winters

are too cold because they don’t rebloom well.

I have had these green handmade ceramic eggs for years.

Because of the deep snow it has been impossible for me to pick up catkins,

that is why I have in a vase some lilac branches to give spring touch.

Floral Bliss #66

This week spring flowers and still a bit of Easter.

All photographed in a garden center - outside we have still winter.

Pouring snow on Monday inspired me to search for spring again.

There were very cute Easter plantings, a pity I did not visit them earlier.

Plantings in big glass bottles looked very nice.

How on earth they manage to plant them through a small hole!

I just had to buy myself this tall & cute Bunny Boy - It shall be my Garden Mascot 2018 ❤︎

I hope you have had a lovely & happy Christmas time, and still do!
I had too much chocolate and too less walking that's for sure.
It was too slippery, was my excuse. More excersise is needed in January!

But I do have a problem - we got a lot of Christmas chocolates!
My husband won't eat, so I have to, probably...
Millions of calories... How many added kilos I wonder!

Safe -Voilà!

For me a couple of hyacinths are a must at Christmas.

But because of my cat Sissi - the empress of Austria, I have to protect even

the tiniest flower pots and put them in a cage or large lanterns.

Here they are, safe and still in green bud - my white and pink hyacinths!

This bird cage is a souvenir from Tunis.

Some old photo tells the same story!
