Floral Bliss #41

The beginning of October means definitely the end of this year's garden bouquets.
So I made the last one using anything in bloom except Sedum Herbstfreude.

Lokakuun alku tietää vääjäämättä puutarhakimppukauden päättymistä.
Tähän kesän viimeiseen kimppuun poimin sekalaista kukassa olevaa.

The parthenocissus are still red and sparkling.
Only one cold night and all the leaves shall be on the ground.
In the garden there would be a lot of work in tidying up, so I hope it does not rain.

Villiviinit hehkuvat punaisina edelleen, mutta tarvitaan
vain yksi kylmä yö ja kaikki lehdet ovat maassa...
Aika paljon puuhaa olisi pihalla, jos ei sateita vaan tulisi!

This is my hanging gardens: parthenocissus growing on an old Sambucus racemosa.
Villiviini muodostaa minun riippuvat puutarhani valloittaessaan vanhan terttuseljan.

Aralia elata already dropping its yellow leaves. - Pirunkeppi pudottelee jo lehtiään.

Flower Wednesday 20

A few photos of Sedum Herbstfreude - it is the last bloomer in my garden.
Its blooms are very red now but in fact I prefer it earlier in green buds.
Herbstfreude is beautiful throughout the season with its pale green foliage.

It lasts a long time in the vase and is good bouquet material.

Here in the Northern Hemisphere the blooming season starts to be over.
But let's share and enjoy our summer memories!
