It was my intention to buy the first tulips of the season, but they were not fresh looking.
Instead I bought two mini poinsettias in salmon color and put them
in tealight holders. We have got a hint of snow, so I photographed them on a window sill.
The led battery candles are from Ikea.
Actually these poinsettias are in lanterns, one in the kitchen and the other on my desk.
Hope you have a great Advent time!!

Looks absolutly pretty, also these in the laterns and with the lights. Looks so cosy to me, and hey, I can see the snow now^^ This is christmas-feeling pure ;-)

Yes, Cristmas feeling is starting to land in mty mind <3 Have a wonderful 2nd Advent!
PoistaGood morning dear Riita,
VastaaPoistayour poinsettias are beautiful. However, I have no luck with that. That's why I'm leaving it now. Yesterday I was at the florist and there was sooo nice, maybe I'll buy one more.
I also have the IKEa Christmas candles, but I'm not that enthusiastic, I like real candlelight, you just have to be careful.
But it still looks wonderful on you.
Greetings Eva
Real candle light is the best of course. Poinsettias don't last for long, they usually dry up. But a great short joy they are. Happy 2nd Advent Eva.
PoistaOi miten sieviä! Nämä ovat kyllä varsinaisia tunnelman luojia. Ja on tosi kiva kun joulutähtiin on tullut uusia värejä niiden perinteisten rinnalle.
VastaaPoistaNämä on tosi söpöjä! Punainen ei oikein ole värini joulunakaan. Mukavaa viikonloppua Lepis!
PoistaHello Riitta,
VastaaPoistayour poinsettias are pretty and have a cheerful colour.
Happy weekend and happy Advent to you too!
kaunis väri!
VastaaPoistaBeautiful Christmas decorations with the poinsettias. I bought a plant but it died a short while later. Have a beautiful weekend. Happy Advent.

Orange! I have only ever seen red and white. They are beautiful.
VastaaPoista...I must say that I'm a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas colors, but these poinsettias look mighty classy!
VastaaPoistaNäen myös pienen lumen kauniin koristelun takana, se on kakun kakku!
VastaaPoistaCan see you are in the same mood I'm in:) Happy preparation for Christmas. Beautiful and elegant captures as always, Ritta - thank you for hosting:)
VastaaPoistaYour arrangements are so pretty, with the lights so inviting, and the beautiful snowy scene outside the window is perfect.
mano
Se ven preciosas. Feliz segundo Adviento. Besos.
VastaaPoistaSuch beautiful photos of the poinsettias. Absolutely gorgeous. I really like those Ikea candles too. We have a fairly new Ikea store in my city now, but I haven't been there yet. I need to go!
VastaaPoistaYou always find the most interesting plants, dear Riita! They look very classy - especially with the snow in the background. We also had the first snow at the beginning of December. It lasted for two days, but has since melted away. From November I brought you roses with a beautiful "hoarfrost sugar rim" for the Linkup.
VastaaPoistaHave a wonderful second weekend in Advent! 🌟🕯️❄️☃️❄️🕯️🌟
All the best, Traude
