T in die neue Woche

Last May we knew nothing about coronavirus and safe distances - it took me half an hour
to queue to Magritte exhibition at Amos Rex. This museum is situated on Mannerheimintie,
very centric. At the background you can see the tower of the Finnish National Museum.

René Magritte is known for giant green apples and  a long pipe shaped nose - see my post here.

  1. No, jospa ensi keväänä taas voidaan jonotella rauhassa. Magritten teokset ovat kyllä tosi upeita!

  2. With so many people in a row, I would have expected more than half an hour. I know him and some of his paintings looks a bit strange to me. But for sure it was interesting to see. The long-nose-man reminds me of a flamingo *gg*

Thanks for beeing at the T and sharing your post.

Have a sunny sunday; greetings and hugs to you

  5. Wow, before I read your words I was wondering why no none was social distancing! How times have changed! Hope you enjoyed the exhibition.

  6. Yay, you can go to a museum again!! I know how much this means to you Riitta:) I'm still standing for a line like this to go in the grocery store! The restaurants begin to open. And even though one couldn't sit for a coffee, there were plenty of customers to pick up their favorite drink and drink it somewhere else:) (we drank it in the car, on our way to one of the grand kid's birthdays). Many thanks for keeping us at All Seasons up to date with the changes! Have a beautiful week, Jesh

  7. I like the tart green apples. I often wonder what happened to the pippen green apples we used to find in the stores. They made much better pies and crisps in my opinion. - Margy
