I visited a garden center and found there a group of Coreopsis grandiflora ’Early Sunrise’.
The spot with their pots was whirling with butterflies, mostly Aglais urticae,
but I saw also Vanessa atalanta, but it was too quick for me.
I simply had to buy a few plants to my garden, although yellow is not the colour I want.
I replaced with Coreopsis the previous annuals in big pots on the terrace stairs
and shall later plant them to the ground.
I have a ’nursery’ for Sedum Herbstfreude. In two years they grow from tiny pieces
to handsome plants. This size costed 9.90 € in a garden center.
This summer I have planted approximately 30 of them - quite lot of money!

VastaaPoista30 Sedum plants will assure you an autumn full of bees and butterflies. You will like it! In my garden you'll find only 7 of them and it's always nice to watch all the insects coming and going.

VastaaPoistaDein gelbes Mädechenauge schaut wunderschön aus und die Schmetterlinge mögen die gelben Blüten auch sehr.
Auch Deine Fette Henne mag ich sehr, wir haben eine im Terrassenbeet, mag kann sehr leicht Ableger davon machen, einen Stil abschneiden, er bekommt im Wasser ruckzuck Wurzeln.

VastaaPoistaDieses Jahr habe ich kaum noch Schmetterlinge gesehen. Anfangs waren ein paar Diestelfalter da, jetzt sehe ich nur noch Kohlweislinge. Es werden jedes Jahr weniger. Deine Fetthenne ist gut gewachsen. Ich habe dieses Jahr meine im Terrassenbeet geteilt und das ist ihr sehr gut bekommen. Ich werde einen Teil herausnehmen müssen, es bedrängt nun andere Pflanzen zu sehr. Damit habe ich gar nicht gerechnet. Das gelbe Mädchenauge finde ich sehr hübsch in den Töpfen. Schön arrangiert hast Du das!
