Book Piles

The theme of Makrotex this week is PILE. I started to read in Spanish a few years ago
with Agatha Christie’s detective stories. I have swapped away many of my first Spanish books
but these eleven Agatha Christie's books are still on my shelf.
Agatha Christie's first book The Mysterious Affair at Styles was published in 1920.
I read the book last summer to honor the 100th anniversary of this great writer.

For Jutta’s Digitalart Dienstag an edit from the above photo.

I sometimes photograph book piles. Here one from this January.

    1. Näiden lukemisesta on aikaa, mutta ne tosiaan avasivat oven espanjaksi lukemiselle. Mukavaa viikkoa lepis.

  2. I like her and her stories. She is a celebrity her on the island, so we have some busts and also a street is named after her. She visited the garden of "Sitro Litre" together with her daughter in 1927, and it’s said that this was the reason for her novel "The Strange Mr. Quinn". Inspired by the garden and the island she had a novel set in "Puerto de La Cruz". During her stay she was living in the Hotel Taoro. To honor there was a fiesta planned last year...but...

Nice pics you’ve made, like it how you presented it.

    Abrazos, besitos y saludos

    1. Nice to hear about these details of Agatha Christie in Puerto de La Cruz. I have read and also watched tv-series of Poirot & Miss Marple. An amazing writer.
