I have very little to report these days - but winter! I am not fond of winter,
and would prefer to live constantly in spring and summer... Wishful thinking of course.
It is pretty frustrating to stay inside the most of the time. Luckily I have my books!
I just finished the 4th & final book of Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan series ❤︎
The Story of the Lost Child and I found it excellent!!

Outside Nordic walking & shovelling, shovelling, shovelling....
It has been snowing & raining for two days.
I was shovelling very early in the morning and took some photos.
Sorry, it was so dark that photos lost some sharpness...

Also the colors turned out very peculiar, so I changed them to sepia.
I hope my humble post is ok with Amy.
And I do hope that you who live in milder climate conditions appreciate your luck!

Hope is not lost - The Spring shall come!
There we are wishing for snow and for you the opposite :). Your sepia photos are wonderful. Hopefully warmer days for you soon. B x
VastaaPoistaWaiting for spring Barbara :)
PoistaEach day brings the sunny warm weather a bit nearer, thank goodness. We had a tiny tiny bit of snow last night, just enough to make stripes on the roof tiles. Have a good weekend.
VastaaPoistaTomorrow is forecast sunny weather - I do hope it's true...
PoistaI love your beautiful snow pictures
VastaaPoistaAnd the pink tulips
Thanks for your comment in my blog
Greetings from Germany

Greetings & happy weekend Traudi!
PoistaBeautiful in sepia! Wintertime is difficult, strenunous and boring... I prefer the other seasons and wait for spring. We have a lot of snow today too, sigh!
VastaaPoistaHave a cozy reading weekend with a purring cat
I wish you the same Mascha ❤︎
PoistaSuch beautiful photos, capturing the very essence of the season. We are awaiting storm heading our way, we have had a little snow but it is not settling as yet. Have a great weekend.
VastaaPoistaThank you - have a great weekend you too.
PoistaSeepia antaa tosi kauniin tunnelman kuviin. Minäkään en ole erityisemmin talven ja lumen ystävä. Minusta oli kivaa, kun lämpötila talvesta huolimatta oli plussan puolella
VastaaPoistaJos voisin, asuisin talvet muualla!
PoistaHow beautiful your sepia photos are, I've enjoyed them so much. Lovely mosaic too with the colour in the pretty tulips. Stay warm:)
VastaaPoistaThank you Rsie . have a great weekend.
PoistaBeautiful photos! I admit to having a little of the winter blues. I'm getting tired of snow and cold. I'm itching to take a walk and see some colour! It will be quite a while yet. I am trying to stay content with books and crafting but Spring is getting closer (or I least that's what I'm telling myself!)
VastaaPoistaHappy Five on Friday
One difficult part is the darkness, it makes you so tired. But The Springs coming!
Paula
Vielen Dank Paula!
PoistaKauniit kuvat olet ottanut talvesta, vaikka et olekaan talven ystävä. Kevättä odotellessa!
VastaaPoistaKevättä, kevättä !!!
PoistaYour photos are wonderful, I don't like winter, but you make it beautiful.
VastaaPoistaThank you Janet!
PoistaMy two favourite seasons are Spring and Autumn!
VastaaPoistaThese sepia look great, and I love your mosaic.
Good wishes for the weekend
All the best Jan
Wishing you a great weekend too Jan.
PoistaYour pictures are beautiful! Hope you are staying safe and warm in this winter weather!
VastaaPoistaThank you Amy - take care you too!
PoistaAn inspiration to go for sepia. The photos are beautiful. Love the old man ornament. Is it pottery and does he have a name? He looks friendly! Wishing you a good weekend!
VastaaPoistaIt is pottery Linda, a grey Santa Claus i think :) Have a nice week.
PoistaNo onpa hienoja kuvia! Luontokuvista tulisi ihania tauluja tai vaikka satukirjan kuvitusta. Seepia toimii upeasti näissä.
VastaaPoistaTunnelmallista viikonloppua!
I wouldn't mind a little snow here on our island, but it's unlikely now. Your sepia photos are very beautiful, with an air of mystery about them. Stay cozy!
VastaaPoistaDelicate and beautiful!
VastaaPoistaThank you all so much for your lovely comments!
PoistaI am planning my Spring garden now. Well only planning it will be awhile until the grown unfreezes. I do have a dandy greenhouse and will start seed in mid to late February.
VastaaPoistaRiitta, your photos are beautiful - I especially like the first collage - Spring will surely come!
VastaaPoistaHappy mosaic Monday!
Ruby
What a winter wonderland of sepia loveliness, your mosaic is beautiful and the tulips just pop right out at you. The final, extra special colourful, mosaic is simply gorgeous. Stay warm inside with a good book and a hot drink, before you know it spring will be here and there'll be no time for reading then.
VastaaPoistaHappy MM.
Beautiful winter shots with lovely flowers.
VastaaPoistaBeautiful images and I love the color of the tulips popping out of the sepia tones of the mosaic. Reading is such a good past time especially when it's cold outdoors!
VastaaPoistaThank you all for visiting ❤︎
PoistaI live in the southwest part of Missouri, so all the horrible weather bypassed us. One weather system swoops down around Kansas City and another swoops up around St. Louis. We're on a plateau in between, so our weather is totally different from the rest of the state. No ice at my house, but gray, foggy, drippy weather.
VastaaPoistaI find beauty in the structure of the bare limbs of the trees - rather like lace - but like you, would prefer the colors of spring. Fortunately, some of our grass is still green, and I've planted a few evergreens and hollys to maintain a little green in my life.
Time passes quickly. We'll be back to sunshine and flowers before you know it. Music helps to lift my spirits on gray days. Try a something a little upbeat.
Thank you so much dear Patsy 💕 You really made my day! I paid a visit...
