This week has been raking & raking and tidying up the garden.
There is still a bit of snow left in shady corners. The first plant to bloom in my garden
is a purple Helleborus. It is very modest with low stems...
Underneath some photos from earlier years. Helleborus blooms for weeks.
It starts when the ground is brown and bare - and catches up the tulips and other
spring flowers, and grows new fresh leaves, as it did in 2017.

I’ll add this collage because it repeats the purple color so nicely.
Snowdrops are not yet in bloom.
Wishing you a beautiful weekend!

Spring at last! Or almost anyway. The light purple color of your hellebore is lovely. And it will not be too long before this year’s snowdrops and other spring flowers join them! Such an exciting time of year.
VastaaPoistaPunainen jouluruusu on yksi upeimmista kevätkukkijoista, minulta tuo ihana kasvi vielä puuttuu. Kauniit keväiset kuvat!
