i am sad to say that this stunning hedge of white Syringa josikae
is not mine but my neighbour’s. It decorates my walking route at the end of June,
is 4 meters high and full of flowers. A beautiful sight!
I don’t usually succeed in photographing butterflies but here a few photos of
Peacock butterfly - to bring you summer mood.

Poista...thank you Ritta for introducing me to Syringa josikae. We have a local park with an extensive collection of lilacs, I need to see if they have a specimen. VastaaPoistaThe color os this syringa variety is usually lilac. Flowers are small but abundant, a great solitary or hedge bush. Mungo Jerry :) The group looks so hilarious with their 'furry' hairdo & whiskers!
