I saw this beautiful bouquet at a garden center with white parrot tulips
and wonderful lilac hyacinths - I have never before seen this shade!
In Finland the spring keeps us waiting: we got a bit of new snow,
but over the weekend it will be sunny and up to +7 C. Hopefully the snow starts to melt.
The other day a young goshawk paid a visit. At first it sat on the trellis outside
my livingroom window, then flew a bit farther away. Not a great photo, but for evidence.
Last April I got a better photo of a bigger goshawk.

Wow...what a beautiful bouquet and such white parrot tulips I’ve never seen before. They look so pretty and for sure it was again fun to stroll between all these plants. Lucky you having already spring! Near my home there are big old forests, so I believe these hawks live there. I have seen them multiple times in my garden.

Our allegro trains from St. Petersburg are pretty much the only way to get out of Russia. As far as I know they are people already living in European countries. So they will not all stay here. Allthough there are about 80.000 Russians living in Finland, some have double nationality.
PoistaPutin’s attack to Ukraine has had consecuences in all European countries, in Finland as in Germany. I wish that the western countries keep on pressing Putin. Here is a lot of talking whether to join Nato or not. Wish the politicians decide in time.

There is no more snow in our place of residence, but we spent a few days in the Czech Republic (in the beautiful Mariánské Lázně) at the beginning of March and there was still snow in places (and it even snowed briefly, but nothing stayed there for long).

PoistaEarly Spring is so wonderful (in colder climates). I was so happy a year ago to see these flowers again when we stayed in Oregon. I'm sure I've told you before that it is different here in Florida. Where there is no Winter weather, there are also no early Spring flowers.

VastaaPoistabei uns sieht es schon richtig nach Frühling aus, aber Nachts friert es immer noch, teilweise haben wir bis -5 Grad.
Die Blumen sind wirklich sehr schön. Wir haben auch schon so einiges neu gepflanzt im Garten, haben aber alles im Netz bestellt. Irgendwo hinzufahren wird hier zum Luxus, die Spritpreise sind enorm.
