Floral Bliss #34

Red is not my favourite garden color. But this deep shade, almost brick red stole my heart.
Last summer I bought a pack of Alcea rosea 'Nigra'.
So my surprise was great when one of them showed this color!

I am a bit late visiting you because a tiny flu has stolen my energy.
It takes a few days always. Stay well you all!

Knautia makedonica fits the color...

So do my cherries...

Color Collage in Lapis Lazuli

Lapis lazuli is a deep blue semi-precious stone that has also tiny golden & white veins.

Lapis lazuli on korukivenä käytetty puolijalokivi. Väriltään tumman tai syvän sininen, 

mutta sisältää usein myös valkoisia tai kullanvärisiä sulkeumia.

PS

My mosaic is a bit too purple. - Vähän liian violetti tuli kollaasistani.
