Summer Memories & Playful Questionnaire

I found this challenge on Marja's blog. The challenge is playful and light as soft clouds
in the summer sky. The photos are SUMMER MEMORIES.

LATE TO BED OR EARLY MORNINGS?

Usually early to bed, sometimes later. But my mornings are always early.

I sleep more hours the next night.

PAVLOVA OR TRADITIONAL STRAWBERRY CAKE WITH CREAM??

Traditional strawberry cake, but mostly without the cake part

 - strawberries with whipped cream or icecream.

RESTAURANT OR PICNIC?

Neither. I dine seldom at restaurant and don’t remember when I had my last picnic. 

I love home cooked food and in the summer we often eat at the terrace - it is like a picnic!

DRESS OR SHORTS?

At home shorts, in town capri pants or trousers. I don’t wear dresses, ever.

SANDALS OR SNEAKERS?

Mostly sneakers, never high heels like in my younger days. 

After my ankle fracture soft sneakers have been the best.

GLOWING WITH MAKEUP OR WITHOUT?

No makeup at home, when going to town a light makeup.

A DAY AT THE BEACH OR AMUSEMENT PARK?

Neither. I would choose strolling in the nature or city sightseeing, 
I do not like to lie & take sunbaths.

TRAMPOLINE OR ARMCHAIR?

Armchair, I am too old to jump like kids or teenagers!

BOOK OR TV-SERIES?

Book, definitely. I seldom watch TV series, movies though.

One exception: HBO’s series Olive Kitteridge was brilliant!

TOURISM AT HOME OR ABROAD?

At the moment at home. Before Covid-19 time my favourite travel destinations have been 

different Spanish cities. Would love to see more of Italy, because my trip to Florence

last autumn was such a wonderful experience.

PEONIES OR LUPINS?

Peonies, but all flowers will do!

FESTIVAL OR HOME PARTY?

Home parties - they are mostly family gettogethers or meetings with friends with a good dinner.

The summer is always too short, but let’s hope for beautiful autumn days!
