T in die neue Woche

Basilica di San Lorenzo is one of the largest churches of Florence.
It was the burial place of all the principal members of the Medici family from Cosimo il Vecchio
to Cosimo III. It is one of several churches that claim to be the oldest in Florence.

It is a huge complex, includes a cloister and looks very original outside.
The facade photo is from Wikipedia, I took photos only inside and it is very beautiful.
More photos & info HERE.

Peaceful Easter Sunday & all the best for the coming new week. Take care.

  7. Dear Riitta,
Happy Easter to you and your loved ones.
The churches in Italy are really exceptionally beautiful. The true great artists were at work there and we still stand before them today in admiration. Thank you for showing us.
    Warm greetings
