Tiiu from the blog Puutarhahetki - Garden Moment launched this welcome challenge and my blog friend Susanna / The Almond Valley invited me to join. While not yet nothing sprouts here, I’ll share a few photos from last spring. The best thing in the spring is to see new sprouts & new growth and that quite special spring scent in the air that mesmerises you and tempts you to be out in the garden hours and hours ❤︎
Please, feel welcome to share your longing for the spring!
Wishing a lovely weekend,
- riitta

Wow, how beautiful...
VastaaPoistaSuloisia kukkakuvia. Pidän erityisesti kevätkaihonkukan sinisestä väristä, on ihan sinisistä sinisin kukka. :-) Sinivaleunikko on toinen ihana sinikukkainen, joka kukkii myöhemmin kesällä.

VastaaPoistaWOW!
VastaaPoistaHow much beauty and spring is on your blog. Wonderful spring flowers which I miss very much. For me, a gray, cool day.

Kevään kauneutta!
VastaaPoistaIhanaa kun otit haasteen vastaan!
Valkovuokot niin kauniita.
Aurinkoista maaliskuuta!
Beautiful shots. I can't wait for spring this year.
VastaaPoistaThank you for hosting.
Spring is very different here in SW Florida. Actually it is a lot like Winter. But we don’t get any of the beautiful early spring flowers, like crocus, tulips and daffodils, because it is too hot in the winter ... the bulbs can’t bloom. We had all of those flowers when we used to live I Oregon and I miss them. Thank you for showing yours and for hosting. I hope you get Soring weather soon!
VastaaPoistaLiebe Riitta,
VastaaPoistadiese Bilder sind wunderschön. Das blaue Blümchen Omphalodes verna gefällt mir am besten. Der Frühling wird nicht mehr lange auf sich warten lassen.
Ich wünsche Dir ein schönes Wochenende.

I am longing for spring too, dear Riitta. We have had some serious winter weather and today we are supposed to get more snow. I am more than ready for spring. Thank you for always being such a gracious host. :)

Se ven preciosas. Un beso.
VastaaPoistaDear Riitta,
VastaaPoistaYes, we are all longing for spring. Although we have a very mild climate, February has been cold, with lots of snow, and nothing much is showing up in the garden. Soon, though, the daffodils and hyacinths will be in bloom. They are beginning to poke through the ground now. Lovely photos of the spring to look forward to.
Ah...lovely photos, Riitta!
VastaaPoistaLovely to see these.
VastaaPoistaAll the best Jan
