Puppy Pastels

Ennakoin jo eilen sadetta, poimin kukat kimppua varten,
mutta unohdin ne sitten sateeseen yöksi. Voi minua!

Mukana on luonnonkukkia, joskin kaikki kerätty puutarhasta:

ruusuruohoa, valkoista maitohorsmaa, suopayrttiä, ukonhattua ja ripaus kultahumalaa.

I picked the materials in the garden yesterday but then forgot them in the rain.

My bouquet consists of wild & cultivated flowers:

Knautia arvensis, white Chamerion angustifolium, Saponaria officinalis, Aconitum napellus

and a bit of Humulus lupulus 'Aureus'.

I don't want to go out at all, I am pissed off.

Green Weekend

This large steel planter sits on my old garden Singer.
Every spring I search sprouts of this lime Lysimachia mummularia from the garden and plant it here. I like the color.

An autumn look a few years back

A photo early this summer, Lysimachia mummularia starting to grow...
I am a bit disappointed with that lilac Osteospermum, it stays funny looking...

Lime colored Spiraea japonica makes a good contrast with blue Tradescantia x Andersonii

Lime colored Physocarpus opulifolius is a nice bush in dark corners

I so wish you have more sun than Finland!

Floral Bliss #32

This year all clematis bloom late for the spring was so cold.

By now only integrifolia Petit Faucon and Recta atropurpurea are in bloom.

In addition to cold weather some plants have suffered from the wilt disease.
Yet to bloom are Warzawska Nike, Negritjanka, Mikelite and Emilia Plater.
The rest are uncertain.
