Novita wool shades this week are sunflower, wheat corn and rowan.

Friday Bliss #138 - Happy Mother’s Day!

On Sunday we celebrate in Finland Mothers’ Day. As present for mothers also pot plants 

are very popular. Any plant will do: roses, orchids and hydrangeas. I usually get a rose.

It’s the time of wood anemones and the breath of the spring wind,

I stop and think for a moment who deserves praise, 

It's my mom, the most wonderful, even more precious than gold.

I open the window to spring and put a bouquet of flowers on it. 

I raise a toast of sparkling wishing a glorious Mother’s Day!

Cool spring continues, so far some groundcovers are blooming, not much else. 

But next week we’ll have a three days’ summer with 18-21 C. Isn’t that something!

For the First of May I had a simple bunch of alstromerias. 

All the wonderful blooming still ahead. Soon the cherries will bloom!
