Aurinkoista elokuuta! - Wishing you sunny August!
Edith
I think we would -deserve- some beautiful & warm weather finally! Liebe Gruesse, riitta

VastaaPoistaKiitos - sitä samaa sinulle!
PoistaKauniit kuvat Riitta. Tuo alppipiikkiputki on minulle uusi ja outo tuttavuus.
VastaaPoistaAlppipiikkiputki on kaunis. Monet sanovat että se leviää hyvin, vaan eipä meillä vaikka saisi!
Poistathe second and third must be different flowers, right? Love them both bur never seen the third one.
VastaaPoistaThe 2nd and 3rd are the same Eryngium alpinum. I have never before thought how they change their appearance. Have to watch!
PoistaRiita, I love all your blooms, the first ones are so striking. Are the thistles? But the Rose is stunning. Almost paperlike. Thank you for hosting!

VastaaPoistaYour flower images are outstanding. Your first image of the Dipsacus fullonum, looks as though it has its own flower headband! Loving your delicate pink rose and Astilbe.
Enjoy your brilliant sunshine tomorrow. I will think of you as I am finding ingenious ways of drying my washing :)
They are all beautiful but I am especially in love with the silver flower! That is so unusual.
VastaaPoistaSon todas preciosas. Saludos.

Hello Rita!:) You are true artist when photographing flowers. I always enjoy the beauty you share, and I love the grey plant. The insects seem to be attracted to it also! The flowers in your last image are lovely. I would love to have both of these plants in my garden. Hope you get some sun soon.:)
VastaaPoistaHello Riitta! Beautiful all the blossoms, but I love so much the look of blue Eryngium alpinum (and you know what? I just can imagine how it can look this in sepia and b&w **-**); for sure, never seen before such a inflorescences of the plant I think... and all of them are really interesting to observe in nature.
