'Now it is time to present myself. I'm flower of quite an ordinary rhubarb here in Onnela, that is how riitta's garden is called. I find her a bit stupid lady because she does not understand how delicious I am! She don't bake any rhubarb pies nor cook kissels for dessert. Well, on the other hand it is fine with me - I can grow and bloom in peace.'

'I am happy to notice that riitta anyway takes care of me. She put this old rusty arch over me for protection. Early in the spring when I was underground nobody could walk over me. But today I don't fit here any more and she don't notice!'
'Ja mukavalta tuntuu kun se minusta kuitenkin tykkää, vaikkei syö. Kuvasipa innokkaasti keväisiä lehtiänikin. Voisihan se nyt muutaman lehden hyödyntää vaikka raparperilaattojen valamiseen. Mutta ihan toivoton se on - ei ikinä saa aikaiseksi.'
'I am really pleased that riitta loves me. I noticed it early in the spring when she photographed my fresh new leaves. But hey lady - a bit of action! You could at least make a few stepping stones out of concrete using my leaves as mold. But she is hopeless - she'll never get it done!'
