March was not a nice month with all the devastating world news.
Also the Finnish spring proceeds very slowly and there is still a lot of snow to melt.
Fortunately we had three lovely birthday celebrations in the family
and me & DH are almost totally recovered from our flu. My March archive is pretty small
but these would be the most interesting March posts:

March has been tough. Almost like 2020 when I was in lockdown in Italy.

VastaaPoistaWell, I don't think April is that bad and you have to read the whole quote. When Eliot wrote Waste Land, he was also in a life crisis. That also had an effect.

April is when we dare to hope. In the Waste Land, nothing can be crueler than hope, since it can only lead to disappointment. It always leads to disappointment. In the Waste Land, hope hurts, and April hurts most of all by mocking us with possibilities that can never be realized.
Thank you Eva for your explanation. I have not read The Waste Land by Elliot. For me April is normally a good month, the first real spring month. Allthough there are people who get very depressed in the spring. But not me!
PoistaMarch has been a rough month for the world. I hope that April will be better. I'm glad you and your husband are feeling better. It took over two weeks for me. Spring will soon be there in Finland, too, and is so enjoyable.
