Also I have participated quite a long time in Mosaic Monday, now hosted by Angie at the blog Letting Go of the Bay Leaf. I have learned to know many nice ladies who tell about their life. In the blogpost there must be at least one collage. This week I present some great international books that I have read recently. The writers come from all over the world:
Domenico Starnone, Italy - Trick *****
Sergio Ramírez, Nicaragua - Perdón y olvido, short stories ****
Luis Sepúlveda, Chile - The Story of A Seagull and the Cat who Taught her to Fly ****
The nobelist J.M. Coetzee, South-Africa - Times and Life of Michael K ***
Gail Honeyman, Scotland - Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine ****
A year ago I found this green linkup that is hosted by Loretta and Wolfgang from Germany. It concentrates mainly on garden and gardening. The linkup is called Gartenglück - Garden Happiness. The rhythm of the seasons is quite different in Finland and Germany but I love to watch their early spring happiness!
My newest linkup host and blog friend is Tom who has several linkups - and a million of great photos! See his blog Backroads Traveller. I don’t always have an appropriate post but I join in Tom’s challenges every time I can.
Then I love to participate in two artistic linkups - Jutta’s Digital Art Tuesday and Ainos Color Collage Challenge.
To finish I’ll tell you my good and happy news. Today it’s 9 months and 11 days from my severe ankle and low leg fracture and today I was able to walk my 2,5 km walking route for the first time on my own feet without any aid! These have been really tough months but am confidently looking for spring and summer and the new gardening season!
Wishing you all great spring days!

...Riitta, such lovely images from the conservatory. Spring is slowly appearing here with an occasional winter thrown in the mix. Thanks for sharing, enjoy this special day.
VastaaPoistaMe alegra que estés mejor. Un beso.

I've so glad you are healing and able to walk again. It takes so long to heal but you are doing great. Beautiful photos today! Happy Mosaic Monday!
VastaaPoistaHooray for the good news about your ankle! You'll enjoy your walk very much! Joining in linkups is a lot of fun and I've gotten to know many wonderful blogs that way. Lately I've had a hard time keeping up with visiting the other participants and I feel bad about that.
VastaaPoistaYour photos are wonderful, as always, and I hope that spring won't be too far away in coming to Finland.
@Eda, Tom, Teresa, Eileen, Stephanie, Lavender Dreamer & Lorrie:
PoistaThank you all for your nice words - wishing happy spring to you.
Oh I am so glad to know your leg has healed well. I too enjoy linkups very much. Our grandson and his wife are living now in Jyvaskyla..... so I am trying to learn more about your country ( and now their new home).
VastaaPoistaThat is interesting news Sallie! How long they are staying in Finland? Soon this country is at its best - the Finnish summer is so beautiful.
PoistaRiitta - congratulations on your full recovery! Walking is such an essential life function - the body does not do well when stationary!!! Thanks for the mention in your blog post today - I am honored on behalf of Mosaic Monday to be among your favorite link-ups. Your photos are all wonderful, and I like how you added objects to your book collage - very artsy! Enjoy your week.
VastaaPoistaHello, Riitta. Thanks for sharing.
VastaaPoistaHave a nice week!
...and...by the way: I am so happy for your walking success!!
VastaaPoistaYou can enjoy now!
Mukavaa kun aina osallistut :)
VastaaPoistaNice to hear about your favourite linkups! And congrats on the recovery!
VastaaPoistaMinulla on täysi työ kommentoida niissä, joihin osallistun, vaikka niitä on paljon vähemmän.
Ihanaa, että kävely sujuu <3
Ihanat scillat!
VastaaPoista@Angie, Luisella,Pieni Lintu, Craft Candidate, Kirsti, Susu & Maarit:
PoistaKiva kun ehditte käymään ja kommentoimaan!
Link ups are fun. I'm always watching for new ones that fit my photography and stories. - Margy
VastaaPoistaThank you for visiting Margy!
PoistaCongratulations on your walk! I understand a bit of the happiness of such news. I've been walking without a cane for a few months, including the stairs. :-) Your photos are stunning. The top color collage is a wall hanger. :-)
VastaaPoistaCongratulations to you too! One can really appreciate a normal walking ability when it has gone for a few months :) All the best to you.
