Garden queens of the week are fluffy & butterfly-like Gillenia trifoliata in white,
scented pink peony Edulis Superba and the very high rosa Norwegian rose Hurdal.
With these two beauties I made a quick and easy floating arrangement
for our terrace table. In this heat it did not last long, but was nice as long as it lasted.
The Hurdal rose is very high, about five meters and it grows among thujas and
spreads charming forest feel. As it is so high, not the easiest to photograph.
With the tag hurdal you’ll find photos from the previous summers.
This cute cat neighbour visits us now and then and likes to sleep in my flower bed.
We give him / her water & a bit of dry food. My cats consider this furry visitor an intruder,
that is why we don’t let them get near each other & fight.

I love peonies when they are in full bloom. The other white type of flower means nothing to me. It bears a bit of resemblance to the magnolia blossom.

Great the peonies... I like them a lot. Especially the foto with pink with the delicate white flowers.
VastaaPoistaThe peonies don't bloom long here because it was very hot. But there are roses over and over for that... Super!

VastaaPoistadas sind wunderschöne Rosen und besonders die Kombination gefällt mir sehr gut. Aber auch die Katze ist sehr süß wie sie da so schön schläft. Ja, die eigenen Katzen mögen in der Regel keine fremde Katzen und so ein Kampf sieht schon sehr heftig aus.
