I HAVE GREAT NEWS - WE ARE GETTING TWO KITTENS!
Selma who is bicolour in red and white and her sister Silva, whose coat is tortoiseshell. They are now 12 weeks old and both oh so adorable! From the beginning we wanted two kittens, but the breeder Arja / Haaveeni Cattery, Hämeenlinna said that they were all reserved. She was thinking of keeping Silva herself, but the day before yesterday she called and said that she can’t separate these two, because they are such good pals and play and sleep together. I am so happy with her decision.
Photos are taken by the cattery lady Arja, but I am allowed to share them. She shares every week new photos of Aasa's six beautiful kittens on Facebook, it kind of shortens the waiting. We can go and get Selma & Silva home over the weekend 11th -12th of December. And now a lot of kitten photos, hope you enjoy!

PoistaThe first time I read the Name Selma I thought: There must be a Louis too...thinke of the Roadmovie Thelma and Louise ;-)) and now you are getting two cats. They are both so pretty, and only a few days they will brighten up your home and give it a good "shake up". I am happy for you too. Good that the breeder has recognized this and doesn’t want to seperate the two. A good sign for the breeding!!!

Yes, Selma & Silva are good friends like Thelma and Louise :D Arja is pediatrician and works with children. Breeding Norwegian Forest Cats is her hobby. She said that many times the kittens form special friend pairs, as now Selma and Silva. Still - or only - two weeks to go!

VastaaPoistaThe names were chosen by the breeder Arja. The names of all 6 kittens started with S. In addition my grandmother’s name was Selma, so nice.

What a joy to wait for two cute kittens!
VastaaPoistaI'm very sad right now: there was a new kitten in our street and probably two foxes have killed it. Learned yesterday. The little one was only 6 months old, came to see me often, was very nice and playful. I wonder why neighbors left her outdoors all night (often she took shelter in my home) - they even saw the foxes often -
That is impossible to understand! My cats don’t go out by themselves, only on a leash. What a sad faith this kitten had :((
