No trace of Winter Wonderland this week - it has been grey and wet every day.
Over the weekend more snow is being forecast and temperatures round -7 C.
Hopefully some sun, too.
Floral Bliss of the week: The third stem of my red amaryllis is blooming wonderfully.
The stem is ridiculously high, I have to cut it down before it falls on the floor.
Four blooms are open at the same time, still two to open.
This week Sissi went to see a doctor. She had cratched her cheek very badly.
No other way but use the annoying collar and take cortisone.
Fortunately the skin is recovering well. The reason for itching must be the dry air inside.
My cozy reading was an audiobook by Petra Giménez Barlett - Ritos de muerte.
It is the first book of her series of the detective Petra Delicado and happens in Barcelona.
A literally tourist trip I enjoyed.

Sissi would eat all my cut flowers if I did not keep an eye on her! Red is not my color, but one red amaryllis in Christmas time is a must. I was so surprised that even the third stem bloomed this beautifully.

As travelling is forbidden at the moment, it feels so great to visit Barcelona with Petra Delicado! She is quite a personality, I enjoy so much her dialogues with Fermín. Greetings!

VastaaPoistaAlso here no more winter wonderland - yesterday and the day before yesterday we had fresh snow, last night it rained away everything. But we can make it beautiful inside. Your amaryllis is a wonderful feast for the eyes, the audio book also sounds good - crime and Barcelona, a nice combination. Poor Sissi - it's good that her skin is getting better.
