My shrubs of Rosa rugosa ’Rotes Meer’ (red sea) shine more like Yellow Sea in the sun!
I don’t remember this fantastic color from previous years.
I’ll add a tiny spring bouquet to remind that it is time to plant spring bulbs.
So I went shopping spring bulbs but almost everywhere they were sold out.
Then I found the remains at Plantagen, at half a prize and came home
happy with among others this blushing beauty Akebono.

mit diesem herrlichen strauch geht ja im tiefsten finnischen november die sonne auf! dass sich alle blätter so gelb bei rosensträuchern färben habe ich noch nicht gesehen. auf jeden fall sieht es wunderbar aus.

Yes, how serendipitous, I also had something yellow. Yours is truly a yellow sea. Love the one with the green edge, and the one with the red berries in front.

VastaaPoistaI, too, see more yellow in nature this autumn than in previous years. I think, that probably has to do with the temperatures or the degree of humidity in the course of the year ... In any case, you are showing a wonderful colour-fireworks and very pretty flowers!
