Rose shrubs are blooming but the single flowers don't look as fresh & big as normally.
This must be due to the draught of May. The sad look does not inspire photographing,
so I made a rose tray of a few varieties of Rosa rugosa.
'Belle Poitevine, David Thompson, Hansa, Jens Munk, Pappilan neito,
Rotes Meer, Snow Pavement & Zwerg'.
For some reason I don't have good overall photos of flowering shrubs.

VastaaPoistayour rosa rugosa is so beautiful. I remember it from my childhood. They lined a play hill and we collected the finely scented petals.

We have got rain now, but the damage was done.
PoistaTrue! Flowers do not look the same this summer...not even the wild flowers along the roads: Lupines were a bit miserable too. But you made a convincing tray. Have a good evening!
