1 Enjoying outdoors - The weather ♥
Last week I complained about the awful weather but May started with wonderful summer temperatures. This is Heaven! It has been a splendid week in the garden, doing this and that - and getting the muscles aching :)
Scilla siberica |
Brunnera macrophylla |
Omphalodes verna |
Viola odorata |
Everything grows vigorously and small spring flowers have started to bloom. These tiny blue flowers are always a welcomed sight in the spring.
3 Enjoying outdoors - Funny Plants
For the Makrotex Challenge I photographed my rhubarb. At a close look it is really funny, almost scary.
Beauty Sleep in the afternoons! |
4 Enjoying outdoors - Sissi
Everything that moves catches Sissi's attention: birds, squirrels, bees, flies, ants... After ambushing all these creatures she feels so tired that a good long Beauty Sleep is needed!
5 Enjoying a Splash of Color
I posted my choice for the artist of the month to Barbara's Paint Monthly. If you are in need of an extra color boost, please look here.
As you can see
I haven't done much else than being outdoors and enjoying in the garden :)
But with this weather it's a sin staying inside!

PoistaSuch a cheery post. Sissi is gorgeous, you must love her so! The rhubarb does look very scary close up. I have been thinking about investing in a macro lens. Have a lovely weekend enjoying your garden :)

What a great celebration of spring. I love all the pretty spring flowers, especially the cowslips (the top photo). We have banks of them near here and I always love to see them when they bloom.
VastaaPoistaBeautiful garden pictures. I love Spring - when things finally get going! It's taking a while here in Michigan but finally things are popping. Sissi looks like she's enjoying the sunshine. I know my cat does. I can tell when it is getting warmer as he no longer sits in front of the heat register.
VastaaPoistaHave a great week
Sharon, I wish Spring arrives quickly there too. Mischigan is so north! Sunshine & love to you and your cat!
PoistaLove your kitty, we use to have one who looked just like him. His name was Bear. In the States we call that type of cat a tuxedo cat.
VastaaPoistaKitties are cute, can't help it :)
PoistaBeautiful photos and yes, what a joy this lovely sunny warm weather is. xx
VastaaPoistaLovely moments from your week, especially the beautiful flower photos. I couldn't work out what the rhubarb was, but then when you said I realised, they have an amazing texture close up don't they. Thank you for joining Five On Friday this week, hope you have an enjoyable weekend!
VastaaPoistaThe rhubarb looks really funny... Lovely weekend Amy!
PoistaWhat wonderful flowers! I particularly love the violas, the depth of the colour. The rhubarb is amazing. I shall definitely look at the artist as I love colour.
VastaaPoistaIt's so great to have some sun and warmth at last! Your photos are glorious, U really enjoyed seeing them :-)
VastaaPoistaBeautiful photos - the blue flowers of spring like the forget me nots, and the scilla are some of my favorites. I'm glad that the sun is shining and the earth is springing to life once again.
VastaaPoistaThe spring is my favourite season. Have a lovely Sunday Lorrie!
