Friday Bliss #37 - With an Accelerated Rhythm

We had a few really hot and sunny days. The heat made everything to grow, bloom and also to wither with an accelerated rhythm. Plums and cherries were beautiful for 3-4 days and then they dropped their petals on the ground. The air is filled with dandelion and aspen seed fuzz! It’s like snowing. I'll share today a few miscellaneous photos of plants that bloom right now in my garden.

My long hedges of Spiraea chamaedryfolia on two sides of the property starting to bloom.

Late on Wednesday evening I heard a flock of cranes flying high above...
But I wonder if they have lost their rhythm because this spring immigration seems belated...

Wild Silene dioica self seeds abundantly and wherever it wants.

Lamium maculatum is an easy ground cover.

Flowering Lunaria annua in bright sun.

I chose small pansies to a big planter at the terrace...

This small bouquet served as accessory when photographing a summer blue book cover...
Myosotis sylvatica is growing everywhere - aint it cute!

Fabulous Green of Early Summer

The fresh green of early summer is so infatuating!
This splendour lasts about till Midsummer - after that the green shades turn darker.

Fountain of Roses

Ich wollte einen romantischen Manorsommer schaffen.
Das Licht auf dem Foto ist unwirklich - wie oft nach einem starken Regen und Regenbogen.

I wanted to create a romantic mansion summer.
The light in the photo is unreal -  such as often after a heavy rain & rainbow.

Messy Constance

Clematis Constance is pretty pink and very strong, but oh so messy! It grows up till 7 meters along the ladders of our house. I cut it down very often but there she is again - reaching the sky.... I got this seedling of Constance from a clematis enthusiast. Clematis on the Web says it is semi-double, but mine is not. I don’t know with which clematis it has been cross-pollinated.

Ei tätä sotkua mikään selvitä! - It is impossible to clear up this tangle!
